Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a blog, can I get listed?
A: That depends. It depends on the blog, how often you post, and how relevant it is to the Java community. We will block anyone that does not discuss Java at least 60% of the time.

Q: I am a blogger already listed on OnlyJava.com, can I get featured articles and more exposure on OnlyJava.com?
A: No, not today, we don’t have any plans to allow featured postings.

Q: I did not create an account and lost all my history because my cookies were deleted. Can you help me retrieve my viewing history?
A: No, this is one of the primary reasons we have "accounts". With accounts we can store your history. Once your cookies are cleared out, your OnlyJava.com history is deleted as well and unfortunately there is nothing we can do to get it back.

Q: I’m concerned about privacy. You are storing the articles I’ve visited in the past?
A: Yes, it’s a part of the service, but nobody looks at or cares what articles you visited. The stats are aggregated and looked at as a whole from time to time. If you are interested in the industry we expect you to read almost every blog post made in our industry, so there should be nothing private about this service!

Q: Will this site always be free?
A: Yes, we will do everything in our willpower to keep it 100% completely free

Q: What are the tabs at the top?
A: Each tab represents a specific category we are monitoring. We are aggregating Blogs as the primary focus, Twitter posts from people in the industry, and Recent News surrounding the industry.

Q: I have a bug report to make
A: Please submit it to us through the Contact Us form. We can only improve the service with input.

Q: I’m a blogger and don’t like my logo / don’t want to be on this site / or I have other questions and comments
A: Send us a message at the Contact Us form.

Q: I have another question...
